With a focus on accelerating the development of solutions that exploit the vast amount of information already available across cities to deliver better citizen services, IBM SmartCamp provides mentorship to early stage start-ups and facilitates access to venture capital companies.
IBM operates the world’s broadest security research and development organization, comprising nine security operations centers, nine IBM Research centers, 11 software security development labs and an Institute for Advanced Security, with chapters in the United States, Europe and Asia Pacific. IBM monitors 13 billion security events per day in more than 130 countries and holds 3,000 security patents.
Microsoft and Intel are working to scale the Tech4Teachers program to other states across the country, as part of ongoing efforts by both companies to provide educators with impactful and relevant resources to improve 21st-century skills in the classroom. In addition, the companies agreed to cooperate in the development and marketing of Windows Phone.
