The high-performance servers allow the organization to filter donor statistics and quickly engage supporters in specific projects. This includes giving country offices, with only one HP ProLiant server each, the ability to simply access information from the headquarters’ data center. Additionally, the new HP ProLiant servers at its headquarters allow IFAW to save energy within the data center and provide a starting point for future virtualization projects.
Microsoft also announced it is expanding its Partners in Learning for Educators program with redesigned curriculum and professional development resources, ranging from fundamental use of technology to in-depth, research-based methodologies for increasing student mastery of 21st-century skills.
IBM and the Skolkovo Foundation plan to collaborate on areas of mutual interest including modeling solutions for the oil and gas industry, mobile payment solutions and the use of business analytics technologies to improve road safety.
